Unfortunately I can't tell you that, this is my first rubber boots so I can't compare. The smell is slightly unpleasant for me, but I know some people enjoy it.
I think we have established they are PVC, so I'm not really surprised they have an unpleasant odour.

I thought about having a pair of those but I am changing my mind now.
There is also longer ones to like a wader type I have seen from China I guess?

I want to invest in getting glossy black or red Hunter wellies so badly, but they’re a tad pricey.

As much as I like seeing a pair of tall black glossy Hunter boots, I am not convinced for value for money reasons they are worth it. How about Kamik Olivia or Ugg Shayne or Nora Anton for tall boots?
