I think you are right Pete and it's really hard to find those Primark macs now and they are everywhere and have been throughout the festival season. Mind you this summer is so wet they should still sell out although I haven't seen any of the Tesco ones so far on backs so to speak.

think most of them are on ebay at inflated prices. You never actually see them out anywhere. They seem to have been hoovered up by the ebayers who think they can make a profit, whether that actually happens is questionable

And i've seen half a dozen women in shiny macs in my local town in the past few weeks.

probably more that last time I was in Norwich with crowds it was aroud 28 degrees C and almost everyone, me included, were in shorts and t shirt

You need to move somewhere rainy merv. It hasn't stopped raining here since about June the 5th!

have had a few showers this week but the east of England is the driest part of the country

I've been out for a couple of hours and saw three different Primark ones on my trip into town!

Lovely primark shiny raincoats. I have the same pink and blue ones and I wear mine every week.
