Smooth or textured/patterned

Do you prefer smooth shiny PVC jackets/coats or textured/patterned?
I personally love the look and feel of smooth shiny PVC over textured or patterned but that,s just me.
Also what do you think of the shiny Puffa style coats and jackets, I'm not sure!
I love the shine but feel the look is marred by the stitching.

Thanks for all the responses, seems my preferences are in the majority....for a change.
