I just finished reading this thread again...we plastic pants lovers are pretty active on here in that this "Plastic Pants" thread has grown to 29 pages just since May 2022.
...or maybe I should say "we plastic lovers" - as for me, I'd just as soon be wearing plastic.

Please excuse my bad english, but asking, is p!astic pants any thing to do about rainwear? I have to question its place here. Its obviously a popular subject, maybe should have it own forum? I like to read about rain coat. Not under wear. Just expresses my option.

What plastic pants have in common with some rainwear is soft, smooth vinyl plastic and the way it feels next to our skin, clearly popular among rainwear lovers too.
People who aren't interested in wearing plastic pants certainly have the option of skipping this thread.

I agree with the last message, for myself wearing plastic pants and plastic macs is a great combination, the soft plastic pants make the wearing the mac more intense. I'm sat here now in plastic pants and my long black plastic mac. It's very comforting.

I have made underwear out of raincoats so I can be completely covered in pvc when out in the rain or indoors.
Lots of people like to combined plastic pants with rainwear ect.

I love to wear my nylon rainwear and pants on my bare skin. I know many doesn’t see nylon as plastic, they think it’s more ordinary textile. But sure it’s plastic.
Buy most of my nylon rainwear second hand.

Although a plastic pants forum would be quite cool I think there are facts that make the discussion of them here fully legit.
Like raincoats etc they are garments that are intentionally made in a waterproof way even though they are intended to contain rather than keep out. When I think of it I have even abused some of them as rainwear !
It is also the kind of plastic garment that some of us have made the first contact with as a kid. Let alone the amont of time we have worn them compared to rainwear wearing time.
And they are a great way to indulge into plastic on a daily basis without attracting attention or just the amount of attention that is desired. Sometimes we can even try to be on the riskier side by chosing a noisier one to the office for instance judt to add to the thrill.
Today for instance I have worn one of my noisiest panties under a pair of very wide legged jeans to a shopping centre. No one took notice of the small amount of rustling that made it through the fabric of the jeans. But a very small (!) minorty took notice of my jeans.
