Remember ,Holland lies about 200 km Easterly from East Anglia.
BTW , I am PVC cape- and raincoat fan , but -also - trainfan and modelrailway builder .
Greeting ,Peter .

I like vintage buses too, I am from Essex, love pvc and rubber raincoats along with rubber clothing in general.

on another note, always handy to have a mac while waiting for the bus as the heavier it rains the later the bus will be, and the bus shelter is on the wrong side of the road here since they changed the route

With me..no matter what the weather forecast I carry my mac.....and I have lost count the amount of times I have had the last laugh on those who went out unprepared
The end result....me dry.....the majority...cold and bedraggled

Now hotwilly mentioning nylon macs I must admit although they are not everryone"s favourite I wear one should the weather call for one or always carry one with me
I cannot recall anyone making any comments....I think people have more things on their minds than a guy in a nylon mac
No dogwalking for me as no dog but I regularly wear my mac for a walk into town
Rain expected here in the morning so it looks like the nylon mac will get an outing

Hi,
This morning I had a nice experience.
My wife and grand daughter ( 3 ) went out for shopping.
In the meantime it began to pour .
They had no umbrellas . So I put on the PVC raincoat and my boots (and umbrella ) and went to the shop. There they waited with a lot other people until it would stop raining.
So in front of the public in the shop I helped my wife and grand daughter with the umbrella, and took off through the pouring rain.No comments of course .
In the mean time I discouvered that a cape is bettter , because during the short walk of 10 minutes my trousers became wet above the boots.
Greetings ,Peter

Sounds like you need some waterproof trousers Peter.

Hi,
No problem ,
This time I wanted to use the coat ,because that was easier with the umbrella , but I have a P.U.L. K4 cape , and also waterproof trousers.
Greetings ,Peter
