Is a mac just for rainy days
Re: Is a mac just for rainy days
HI Yes I will have to slip on my delicious riding mackintosh . Listening as I pick it up to that wonderful crisp crackling sound as it comes to life , enjoying its luring weight and rubber scent as I enter my body into its security , strapping in buttoning up belting up ready to admire the way it looks pleats hangs sounds ready to venture out .

I got to admit those rubber riding macs do have a certain appeal with all that crackling and rubbery aroma. My wife had one but refrained from wearing due to the weight. We gave it away in the endListening as I pick it up to that wonderful crisp crackling sound as it comes to life , enjoying its luring weight and rubber scent

Re: Is a mac just for rainy days
I had a wonderful full length, coachman's style, double textured mac back in the day from the old Biba store in Kensington High Street. They sold a range in that material, often with contrasting inner layer, to both sexes. I think macs in such fabrics are still available today, if at eye-watering prices, but they appear now to be marketed as "bonded".
