The film with Sissy Spacek and Mel Gibson is "The River". Great rainwear scene near the start of the film. Btw. like your username. darftwader

The Craft. One of the girls (Fairuza Balk) has a raincoat on. Couple of raincoat scenes in Friday the 13th. I'm not sure what the coat is made of but Trinity in The Matrix looks awesome in it.
