I don't think this comes from any of the movies on IMDb all of which list her as uncredited. The photo comes from a photoshoot for Life Magazine in 1941 to promote "new synthetic rainwear". Here's another shot from the same session:

The model may be the uncredited actress. She certainly has no connection with the present handbag designer based in London of the same name.

The first is not from a cinema fim but from an advertisement - don't know which country.
The second is in French, so probably a French film. I do not know the title or recognise the actress. Someone might.

An easy one this time, Box 125.
(1) is from a 1952 Italian film, "La Tratte delle Bianche" - the girl is Silvana Pampanini, who was once 'Miss Italy'. She is certainly stunning.
(2) is an American film, also from 1952, "Angels in the Outfield" starring Paul Douglas - the girl here is Janet Leigh. She was a big star in the 1950's and from 1951-1961 was married to Tony Curtis. Her best remembered film is Hitchcock's "Psycho" - even though she famously gets murdered in the shower.
Now I have a question for you. Were any transparent or semi-transparent raincoats featured in Russian films of the 1950's or 1960's?

I suspect that rainwear in Russia (USSR) and indeed in most of the East European countries in this period would have been mostly nylon or proofed cotton. I do not think I have ever seen a photograph of an East European girl in her native country in a transparent raincoat prior to the creation of the Russian Federation, since when there have been lots.

I am interested in your last reply.
Why do you think that the Russians didn't wear pvc capes and raincoat? In the old era?
Surely nylon was more expensive to produce?
