I’m not sure I’d have offered to let people try it on, it’ll be like Cinderella with a queue of Ugly Sisters (mainly blokes) a mile long all trying to squeeze themselves into the coat

Cannot believe the audacity of some folk. Who would pay that price. Just imagining all the other gear I could buy for that same amount of money.
