Hackeshen Hofe Berlin

Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum-having lurked for quite a long time before taking the plunge and registering-but have been interested in the "scene" since what now seems like the golden age of the late 50's/early60's. For starters, while we were in Berlin a few weeks ago, we went one evening to the Hackeshen Hofe- a series of restored Art Deco courtyards which now host a mix of cafes, boutiques and our destination, the Amplemann shop. I was surprised to see the boutique next door had an outstanding display of ladies pvc/polyurethane macks in a variety of bright colours, some on outside display stands. Regrettably, as I was with my wife and daughter I did not have an opportunity to investigate further. But it partially made up for a complete lack of other sightings-unusual for any European city-brought about by the unseasonal warm and dry weather.
