I was recently at a cocktail party in Chicago talking to a woman who was a retired executive from Wilson's leather in Minneapolis. She had worn a knee length shiny yellow rubber coat that zipped up the front, and it was lined with smooth dark blue leather. It took me a while, but when I finally commented and told her that I really liked the look she laughed and said too bad there weren't more like me. She said that back in the 90's Wilson's had tried to sell 'raincoats for leather lovers'. They had the one she wore and a hip length hooded reversible one that also zipped and was shiny yellow rubber on one side and blue suede on the other. They didn't sell many and gave up after a couple of years. A lot of the female executives bought some. Has anyone else ever heard of this?
