What was your most memorable, recent or naughty experience of something rainwear related?

This may seem tame to some of you, but bear in mind that I live in a house full of people and even my wife would have been appalled at my action! I went out early for a drive naked under my regatta PVC lined nylon over-trousers. The cool slippery feeling was wonderful, and my hand spent most of the time on my gearstick (if you know what I mean!) I took my jeans in a carrier bag and had to find somewhere to change whilst out, because everyone would be up and about when I got home, with a good chance of questioning about rainwear on a clear, dry, morning!

It was also the first ever compliment I have ever had wearing rainwear. I lady (about my age) asked if I was expecting rain, pointing to the same shiny over-trousers. It was a clear cold morning, with only a hint of cloud. Then she added that she wished she had some because of all the puddles and getting splashed. It seemed an innocent thing to say, but afterwards you do wonder if there was more than just a desire for practicality?

Hi,
I can fully understand your feelings of being naked in nylon pants. When working in the house and garden, I like to wear nylon windbreakers (2 on top of each other, it rustles so nicely) and nylon pants (Legea running pants "Svizzera") on bare skin even in sunshine or when it is only windy without rain.

I did a heavy shop which took about half an hour, then emerged, to my horror, to find the skies had dramatically cleared and the sun blazing from a cloudless sky. With my heavy shopping bags I had no option but to take the crowded bus home, everyone staring at me wondering, no doubt, why I didn't take my rainsuit off!
Similar thing this morning. Took the dog out in full rainwear as it was cold and cloudy with enough of a chance of rain to warrant full protection. Just as I headed back from the furthest point from the house it became gorgeous sunshine. Felt like a rght banana trudging home in shiny rainpants. We have a garden in a communal block about half a mile from the house, during quiet times there I will tend to the vegetable beds wearing only my overtrousers and cagoule, but I can quickly escape to the shed to redress if necessary!
