Rainwear chapters in your life
Rainwear chapters in your life
Here's a question... how has your fetish evolved over time, and can you pinpoint specific periods of different likes? Then, do you see it changing, and where do you see (or want it to go) it in the future?
In my early days it was all about watching from a distance; others in rainwear, but not me.
Then I went through a period where I could buy conservative rainwear items for myself. A shiny nylon tracksuit was a favourite, but at the height of this era I managed to buy a white plastic two piece rainsuit.
I was then in a relationship with a girl that sort of indulged my desires, but never liked it.
Then there were the quiet years with my current wife when I could not bring myself to tell her.
When I finally did come clean we started with backed PVC items, like bra and pants and a gorgeous black PVC trench coat in the 90's.
Now we have plastic outfits, used in bed, but she is not keen, and only tolerates my desires.
I have seen photos of her in a couple of plastic and PVC macs before I met her. When we were younger she had some leatherette trousers which, although not very shiny, were super on her. She wore them in public twice which was great, but since then nothing. I think that because we are older now and she sees my desires as more fetish than fashion, she will not wear anything that I like in public, or in the home, only when sex is involved.
So my next chapter would be to have my wife wear shiny outfits without it being linked to sex (although it would of course turn me on!)

Re: Rainwear chapters in your life
Mine started young when Sail Maker/Misty Harbor was big. Would wear them every chance I got. It lasted for quite some time until it was given away.
Years later, I had a yellow pvc raincoat (don’t remember what brand) which I would wear whenever I was home alone. Afterwards, I had a black one with fireman clasps, and luckily for me, my brother received the same one. I took mine with me to boarding school, but I never wore it for obvious reasons (my fetish never disappeared), and boys and girls weren’t allowed into each other’s dorm rooms.
I took mine to college with one of my best friends from high school and I bought her a pink one to join me in the fun, but everything fell short due to circumstances.
I took the black one back home and later moved to Europe. Eventually met a girl (now my ex) who I introduced my raincoat to, and I bought her two raincoats (burgundy glossy and later a green pvc). She kept the green one, but a mutual friend has the red one now.
Currently, I have a another high school friend nearby who knows of my fetish, and sometimes engages in wearing it.

Rain89, when you say "Currently, I have a another high school friend nearby who knows of my fetish, and sometimes engages in wearing it", is this friend of an intimate kind, or do they wear things for you, knowing you like them, but not leading to sex?
Re: Rainwear chapters in your life
The second one. She’ll wear it for me, but we’ve never made out with while wearing one, yet. So, to answer the question, she wears it for fun, but it has yet to lead to anything.

Re: Rainwear chapters in your life
My fetish started as a very small boy, I was attracted to any shiny rainwear. I liked wearing cagoules, overtrousers when I was at school, I also liked the thin nylon shorts. I was especially attracted to any girls my own age or some of the younger women teachers who were wearing cagoules or any shiny rainwear. I also liked pvc rainwear as well, but it wasn't until about 13 years ago that I bought a long pvc mac.

Re: Rainwear chapters in your life
My fetish for shiny things started when I was walking along a drainage basin in Towcester back in '86. I saw this one lonely pvc glove floating towards me. It was shiny, semi transparent, and looked like some sought of industrial glove. I grabbed it and took it home and washed it out real good. That night is when I discovered myself. I was about 15 years old and it was the best feeling in the world. Then I moved to the same material used to cover hot water heaters. When the family was relocated to Austin, TX. in '88 there was this female school bus driver who kept a shiny pvc umbrella behind her drivers seat. One day temptation took ahold of me and I very gingerly cut a big square out of the umbrella and washed it when I got home. That night was magic. I'm sure to this day the bus driver still wonders how a big square hole appeared in her umbrella. Then when I got into the working world I was able to afford my own pvc umbrella which I dismantled thread by thread. Then for several years I would play with medical gloves that were made of rubber but very shiny. And today my pvc fetish has evolved into a very big collection. Over 150 raincoats, shiny umbrellas, shiny boots, tons of gloves, pyjamas, pants, shorts, tshirts, bedboots, overbooties, shower caps, sleepsacks, shower curtains, pool floaties, table covers, a shiny handbag, bed cover storage bags, skirts, dresses, and big sheets of pvc plastic. If it is made of pvc chances are I have it. The only thing I don't have is inflatable pillows or furniture. To this day I still use gloves but ones that are made of vinyl and are dull on the outside but shiny on the inside. As of right now my collection shows no sign of slowing down.

"same material used to cover hot water heaters" - you are the first person ever to mention that. When I was Young we had a water cylinder in cupboard with a White plastic insulation jacket. I used to touch it if I got a chance, but one day the family all went out and I removed about three sections from the front and got naked. The feeling was wonderful and the plastic was still hot which made it all the better!

Yes, the hotter the better. If it is cold enough outside I will open my window to let in the cold air and then put on my little space heater and stand in front of it with some pvc on. It gets nice and hot, soft, and very pliable.
