I live in Chicago and am looking for a raincoat I can keep in my backpack for the commute to work on rainy days. Preferably something that packs into itself but is also durable and doesn’t wet out. My price range is anything less than $400. I found two models that caught my eye and want your guys opinions and suggestions!

Here are two lightweight raincoats I have purchased recently from Nordstrom Rack's website. Both are roughly mid-thigh length, with a nice roomy hood & a brim to help keep the rain out of your eyes. The first one is only available in metallic finish charcoal grey, with a snap closure. The second one I bought in ice grey (almost silver), and is still in stock in "oil camo" (kind of an olive & black paisley print); it's slightly longer length, with a front zipper, and the "fishtail" in the rear that provides extra protection from the rain for your butt. They sold for $140 and $170 respectively when they were first released, so they're a really good bargain while they're still available.
