For myself plastic macs and pants have to be warm and soft to enhance their lovely feel against bare skin, also brings out the wonderful aroma of the pvc ..

The first contact between bare skin (especially arms and bottom) and cold plastic/rubber induces an unforgettable frisson.

It has to be warm and soft PVC for me.

If you have ever tried inflating a ladies PVC mac with a vacuum cleaner on "blow" setting, or a hairdryer, and just smell that lovely pvc aroma, and feel that warm inflated PVC against your body, you will know exactly why ! Mmmmm

i definitely prefer warm soft pvc. i want to try sleeping in rainwear but it is too difficult. i even have one piece suits from PUL ( a coverall with attached foot socks in black red reverse and a hazchem suit in yellow/blue reverse (had to cut a hole in the window for breathing but the rear zipper makes it harder to take off especially when i am worried about zipper jams).

Both work for me. I love the cold feel when first put on, and will deliberately find a cold wind when wearing nothing under my pvc lined over trousers. There is a thrill in the cold zippy feeling of pvc on bare skin. But when in bed I love the warm feeling of plastic and adore getting so sweaty and feeling the slipppery vinyl as I move.

I'm impressed you have been able to add photos - I have never understood how to do that on rainwearcentral. Can you enlighten me?!
