wind chill
had a real " light bulb " moment this morning , regatter overtrousers , apart from being waterproof , are also totally windproof so my walk down to the town just now was in zero wind chill conditions , legs comfortably warm . marks out of 10 ?

Re: wind chill
3/10
My best water and windproof trousers and the best value are Delta Plus Typhoon.
When I bought two pairs (Green and Blue) they were £7.99 a pair plus postage.
They are fully lined have proper pockets and heavy in weight.

Second pair are a bib and brace waterproof trousers by Helly Hansen
Potsdam they are called.
Again padded lined and heavy duty with pockets not slits.
These were a bargain to!
I paid £30 from e bay when they should have been £120!

Mine are Red not yellow.

annabell-cagoule , yes , a cagoule or overtrousers do a dual function , keep the cold wind out and keep your body-heat in
