Whenever I get the chance I have a look in charity shops, partly for clothes to wear for work but I am always on the lookout for any good rainwear items. I was thinking the other day that you hardly ever see an item of traditional rainwear which is surprising when you think back to how common they were up to about 30 years ago, I was browsing in a charity shop this morning and I saw a delightful olive green long mac for sale. I t was a bit embarrassing buying a item from the women's rail but the shop assistant was not in the least surprised. It appears to be in new condition, it is pvc coated both sides and bears a label "Aron Wear from Protectaplast Made in England." Anyone heard of this manufacturer before? There is no web address which tends to suggest that it might be over 20 years old. It feels superb to wear, here's to the next rainy day!
