The touch of bare skin on soft, cold plastic...

Post by WealdenMac »

....always does it for me. I was lucky enough to born during the late 40's. When I was growing up the female members of the family, as well as female friends and neighbours, often wore some item of unbacked plastic, usually a mackintosh but also sometimes an apron. The women's plastic mackintoshes of the time were generally cut quite full, which meant there was a generous amount of material around the lap area. As young boys invariably wore shorts, it was quite common for one's bare arms and thighs to come into casual contact with cold plastic and the feeling was always electric. More prolonged contact with plastic might also occur during an impromptu nappy application-why did they always put a nappy and plastic pants back on after you'd had the "accident" and make such a fuss about it-or, more unhappily, during a spanking. That first touch of skin against plastic remains as exhilarating today as it was then.

Wow..that is a recollection, and similar with me here in the US. In addition to what you describe, don't forget the flowing shower curtains that were always enveloping you when you did the bath. For some it was also the symphony of crackling vinyl when you were placed in bed during the evening as you were were snuggled down on a clean sheet over the ever protective mattress cover. They were mostly transparent back then, along with the aprons and raincoats.

My memories go back to the 70s, when I was 12 years old. I was born in the mid 60ies and started getiing attracted by shiny, soft unbacked vinyl fabric when I was 5. I had a shiny blue 100% vinyl raincoat when i was in kindergarden, and when I went to ground school in 1972 I had an orange long shiny vinyl raincoat. This kind of raincoat was very popoular in the late 60ies and early 70s. I remember that even in the summer when we had many rainy, but warm days, I had to wear my raincoat, and underneath I wore just my jeans shorts and a t-shirt. The feel of the warm, soft and crackling smooth vinyl against my skin was very nice for me. Interestingly the girls also wore that unlined smooth soft vinyl raincoats in other colors (white, red, blue), and when it was warm, after a thunderstorm or summer shower, the vinyl was even softer than on cold rainy days. We often had between 25 and 30 degrees and after many summer showers the raincoats were soft, smooth "louder" when moving and even their odor was fantastic, of that nice vinyl odor.
Oh i really like summer showers at that time.

Yes, I can remember those days.
As a very young boy I stroke many times those coats, in underhand offcourse.
Those coats where be wearing from the mothers they bring her kids to the playgroup, on the backyard of mine school.

I was drawn the smell of a yellow and blue reversable vinyl raincoat. I would put it on and jerk off almost very day. My fetish was came to life. Raincoats always excite me and most of all it the look, smell, feel, sounds, everything about that cool feel against my naked body or on my partners.

It was, of course, considerably easier to make the first post, to what I hope is a sympathetic and understanding audience, than it was to explain my "peculiar passion" to the young women of 40 or so years ago, even though when I was at university in SW England the place was awash with shiny PVC macs of all shapes and sizes.

I think some of the best pictorial representations of what I like best are/were to be found in Plastique Unique's public gallery. The very attractive Montcler ranges, modelled by "real women", really do constitute a feast for the senses.
