Fashion show- pvc/vinyl very tall boots and short boots?

I found this when one I follow posted this link to a fashion show:

Out of those on the runway, two had mid length shiny boots (rubber or PVC?) and one had PVC/vinyl look very tall black form-fitting glossy boots.

Glad to see this in fashion, just hoping for those mid length shiny boots to make it from fashion to commonplace.

Looks like they tried to combine to those thick sole shoes with boots, by the way they walk it seems kinda funny.
