Rain boots and socks sighting

With temperatures back to winter, a rain&snow mix today, had a good sighting on the commute to work. One woman had a sensible blue raincoat (couldn’t tell the brand) and had on Ugg Shaye tall rubber boots with Hunter boot socks. I suppose you can mix brands and the result looked nice. I wonder if Ugg rubber boots last longer?
