While we all enjoy our rainwear in terms of a fetish, there is one aspect that I have never heard mentioned on here, and that is protection from ticks. I was out for a walk yesterday , enjoying the rain and I crossed an area of marshland which was full of reeds and long grass, but when I got home there was not a single tick on my skin. I mention this because I went for a walk in some woodland in the hot weather when I was not wearing any rainwear and I later found there were several attached to my skin. A few years ago I knew a young woman who got struck down by Lyme Disease(which is spread by ticks) and her health was ruined by this.
