My earliest memory was not of rainwear, but plastic bedding and baby pants, which featured heavily as a bed wetter as a child. These things had a slight noise, but not loud. Later on my fondness for plastic rainwear from the 80’s was also not particularly noisy either. But I do love the sound of PVC or plastic that is super noisy, and adore those videos on YouTube of girls trying on items that they find very noisy, like sticky PVC leggings that crackle loudly at the slightest movement, or the ones who try on vinyl jeans and are surprised when they are very noisy.

I love - no, I adore - the rustling and swishing of nylon rainwear. I have felt this way since I was a teenager, perhaps slightly earlier. I find it so arousing.

If you want noisy rainwear you can’t get much louder than this…

Bonus if you like long rubber boots.

The same for me, if I heard the sound of nylon swishing it attracted my attention, the first thought that came into my mind was *is it an attractive woman wearing a cagoule*.

Whilst "unbacked" plastic is favourite material, there is something particularly evocative about the sound rubberised materials make when, for example, a rubber sheet is shaken out or a rubber mac is carefully put on. Nothing quite like it.

I like the noise of plastics too since my early childhood.
When it comes to plastic sounds there are many different types of people.
There are a lot of people who don't like the sounds of plastic garments. Amongst these there are those who don't like these types of garment at all. The other ones are those who would like to wear shiny trousers a lot for instance but don't like the sounds.
But there are also a lot of people who are not into plastic garments at all but like their sounds. This is why some ASMR channels have so many subscribers:

The sound of plastic clothing especially vinyl is just incredible, and makes me shiver, as a child I have the memory of our raincoats (to my sister and me) that were on the coat rack in the entrance, Often the two coats were placed next to each other, touching each other, when my mother dressed us with them, the few seconds or noise that occurred made me something inexplicable at that time, I also think that it is thanks to this noise that I wanted to have physical contact with my raincoats soon enough.
Today, wearing vinyl trousers while wearing my crotch/thighs that touch with the sound it releases excites me a lot:)

The nice thing about plastic/vinyl clothing for me is that it stimulates multiple senses: the looks, the feel of the smooth fabric, the smell and the sound of cracking/squeaky vinyl is also an important part of that experience.
