Take A Walk Outdoors Day

Apparently 20th January is Take A Walk Outdoors Day in the UK. I trust some of us will don our favourite rainwear and oblige. I'll be at work so no chance!

At this time of the year when I go out in my rainwear it is out of sheer necessity. For enjoyment it is far better in the warmer time of the year.

Try layers of warm clothing underneath the raincoat. It works for me and you get the feeling of the PVC but not quite as nice as having it against bare skin. I do enjoy the zing of a cold rubbery lining and love that sweet spot of weather between heatwave and frozen, specially with a breeze and rain. But I do agree that the current weather is nowhere near that spot!

Poor excuse. Walk to work, or to the station, in your favourite mac. Nobody cares what you look like! Ive long since learned that nobody gives a toss whatever you are wearing. Perhaps something pink may cause the odd glance!!!
