'Crossroads' (British soap opera from 1976). Zeph Gladstone (playing the part of Vera Downend) wears a charcoal grey/black PVC mac in 2 episodes. Sadly they are only short scenes but I will endeavour to find others over the coming weeks. Enjoy!

It’s a lovely raincoat but it doesn’t deserve the way she dismissively throws it off!

I can remember Vicki Lambert (Sandy''s love interest) in Crossroads wearing a long black PVC mac in a stunning entrance. She played the secretary of Hugh Mortimer.This was the late 1970s and the character was played by Judy Matheson who I later discovered was already a film actor. I have looked for these episodes but sadly it seems all her appearances were wiped by ATV.

There is no cloakroom in sight.
An actress doesn't learn how to treat a raincoat right at the actress-school.
With a teacher, named rothboy, her treatment for the raincoat could have been
quite different.
