Long shiny black mac in Kingston

Post by pvc_pete »

Hi,
I zipped into Kingston on Thames this afternoon just as the shops were closing and saw a wonderful site. A guy wearing a long shiny black plastic/pvc raincoat. I'm not sure if it was pvc-u-like or another brand. He was wandering into Sainsbury's in Eden Walk.

Just wondering if the wearer is a member here.

I was rushing to get to a shop before they closed and by the time i had got what i needed he had gone. He seemed very happy to be wandering around in the mac and didn't get any obvious comments or stares. Shame i wanted to ask him where he got it from and compliment him on it. It was just so very shiny.

Hi pvc pete ! Yes, that was me ! Shame we didnt get a chance to chat. Another time hopefully. I'm often around Kingston in my shiny black pvc raincoat. Always enjoy wearing my mac around town.
Please don't hesitate to stop me for a chat if you see me again. Would be a pleasure.

I've been reading the forum for a while now and came across this post recently. Thought I'd say hello to everyone as I'm new here.
Have really loved wearing shiny pvc rainwear ever since I was a child. I enjoy them more and more as I get older.
Just been out in the rain today in my shiny plastic mac and then to the cinema. Got a few nice smiles from the staff and cinemagoers there.
Looks like a wet weekend ahead. Perfect !

Yes it certainly looks like rainwear is the order of the day this weekend and next week. Finally after so much dryness in the south east.

Also off to Wales next week for a bit of a break, and the forecast is wet, so packing lots of waterproofs, who knows what fun we'll have.

A couple of months ago I bought myself a long semi-transparent black mac from Weathervain in Kew whilst in London. It was a choice between the shiny black or see through, but chose see through. This morning it was really wet so I put it on.By the time I reached the papershop my mac was really wet,so I shook myself to shake the rain off before I went in.Fortunately no one was around to see me do this! When I went to pay,the girl at the counter seemed admiring of my mac. The sun was out on the way home, drying my mac out even more. As I write this out,I am wearing just my raincoat next to my skin. I feel good, and a little, well, you can guess the rest!

WoW! It would be great to see a guy or gal wearing a shiny plastic raincoat. I often wear my aqua sport plastic jacket when I go shopping in Birmingham, it would be quite nice to think that the thought and sight of me in my squeaky plastic mac would turn someone on, as it certainly does me!

Was 8 deg c when I got out the car, pulled off my T shirt & sweater & slipped on my Dark Blue PVC U Like Mac
Buttoned it up fully to the neck & down at the bottom

Feeling was great ;)

After 20 mins rain stopped sun came out & warmed the coat up lovely :)
