pvc u like
Hello i have bought several raincoats from pul and loved the quality. Why do they have only one style of mens long raincoat. It would be good if they made gents coats jackets/ above the knee coats with hoods.

Quite a few of PuL and Elements Rainwear coats could be worn by masculine men in public without attracting negative attention or remarks along the lines of: "you woofter!" (depending on the area where you live: some areas are harsher/rougher than others!). The Unisex and (dare I say it) some of the Womens coats and jackets can be worn by masculine men.
As a bloke, you won't find me buying for myself one of the 'skirted' or 'flaired' coat designs, which are distinctly feminine (my girlfriend loves the 'Romantica' and 1950s raincoats, by the way). But the RA01 and RA02, among others, can be worn by Men, as they are not really feminine in their design. The Ladies Jelly Jackets could be worn by men; I personally don't think they are overly feminine in design. In fact, I recall some boys wearing jelly jackets when I was growing up in the 1980s: in a Maidstone, Kent, supermarket, I saw a boy in a glass clear red jelly jacket. One of my mates at school wore a glass clear blue one. Design-wise, the original 1970s and 1980s jelly jackets were more or less identical to the replicas offered by PuL.
But, yes, I suppose there could be scope for some more Mens designs.

I wear my PUL 1950's style mac out, I don't think anyone takes much notice. I shall be wearing it out later today since there is heavy rain forecast.
I wish that PUL still sold coats in the navy blue and dark green colours.
