Proper rain today in the south east , been out in my Wellies and waterproof suit, now that’s drying , just slipping on my new galon diriksons waterproof cagoule and trousers
I love the rain

I love the rain. And with 54 inches per year, It is a good job I do.

Lots of rain today = lots of cagoules out and about to see lots of modern lighter weight ones like peter storm modern. Say an old school red kway, lots of PU womens macs being worn (had mine on) and some unusual shiney gold cagoule and something that looked like a heavy weight rains mac a german lady was wearing i talked to. Wonderful

Wore my hunter thick pvc poncho today and hunter boots to match! First time I’ve worn them out! Was great!

I went into Birmingham yesterday morning and walked around in my Thor Pit raincoat (see through grey/black) then later in a Country Park for an hour in my cotton backed yellow pvc raincoat, DeWalt PU overtrousers and wellies. By then it was raining quite heavily

Drainage became a problem for yesterday so I put on my DeWalt black jacket and over trousers along with rubber boots and gloves to clear the blockage. Fixed it rather quickly but it started to rain so I decided it would take me a lot longer to clear because I was enjoying the feeling of the rain on my waterproofs.

I find the sound of the rain hitting my pvc and the feeling of it running/cascading down to be so enjoyable, often walk much further that I originally intended because I enjoy the feeling so much
