All I can see on my statement is "PUL manufacturing".

Removed by admin - what a load of @#$%^@#!@#%$!
Dear Cherie
Does your wife check everything you do? does she literally check your mobile phone, your credit card statements, does she always greet the courier, does she look over your shoulder at your emails if she does maybe you should just come clean with her and tell her you have a fetish for PVC and what you spend on your money on is your business. Maybe you should sit down with her and explain that you have a fetish and if she loves you she will understand. So instead of blaming PVC-U-LIKE for keeping you informed about the progress of your delivery, having to conform with banking rules, giving you some insurance that your parcel will be delivered, conforming with courier protocoles and trying to give a professional service you can sort your relationship out with your wife.
Nuff said.

Thats a bit harsh and uncalled for reply! Some people understandably want too or need to be descreet for what ever reason.

That's a terribly unprofessional response from PUL. Shame on them.

Ok let's debunk the original post.
1) The credit card statement states "PUL Manufacturing"
2) You don't have to use a credit card it can be by Paypal for instance.
3) The system will update you on the progress of the order, if you do not want it to come to your inbox set up a Google email address so you can check on line and not have it come into your personal email.
4) If you pay by credit card for anything these days you will get a 3D check, there is nothing we can do about that, it causes us a lot of problems but thats progress.
5) Courier companies insist on a valid email address and telephone number so they can keep the customer informed and make a succesful delivery.
6) Courier drivers do not insist on handing the parcel to the person concerned, they are way to busy and will basically hand it to whoever opens the door.
There are ways of purchasing goods and being discreet about it, without all the drama.
We're tired of being blamed for what the Bank's and courier companies demand, its called progress.
We at PVC-U-LIKE are desparately trying to keep our business afloat against high intrest rates, higher wages, cost of goods and shipping, inflation, insurance, energy prices so that those of you that love PVC can have some enjoyment, so it makes us pissed off when people just want to moan about us.
Maybe we could do with some praise on here for a change for what we are doing or would you prefer we just went down the drain like so many other companies?

It sounds like PUL are struggling, I assume the outburst of negativity is out of frustration of trying to keep things afloat, and I know how difficult it can be, having been through that situation personally.
So I for one will try to support them by buying more when I can.
Let’s all remember that behind every business are staff who rely on the company for income. Not to mention that, as pointed out, we find it increasingly difficult to find suppliers of the products we like. If we support PUL where we can it will help us and them in the long term.

Personally, I have found PVC-U-Like great to deal with! Products are excellent quality and fantastic prices. I think it is Gary (?) from the company that often posts in here to help out with queries etc. I love their clothing and of course will be buying more in the future.

No way that couriers "insist" on handing the parcels over to the addressee personally. They ring the bell, and if you haven't opened the door within about 20 seconds, they will have left the parcel on the doormat, taken it's picture and driven off.
Also the company name is definitely shown as "PUL Manufacturing" and not "PVC-U-LIKE"
OP - stop making a drama out of a non-event.

Let me make this clear. I did not remove the original post; Rainwearboy must have read it and took it down
I did read it this morning though, and I also thought it was pretty naff too - I don't blame him for taking it down.
There was no need to slander PUL this publicly either. All you had to do was contact them to air your concerns, but no, you had to self-importantly post this in the most public manner possible.
I'm surprised you even need to keep your fetish that much of a secret from your wife too. Sure doesn't sound like the recipe for a happy marriage to me.
Man up, sit down with wife & tell her about it. Who knows, she might go for it too!

And having said that, I shop regularly with PVC-U-LIKE, and I have never, in 15 years (or longer?) had a single problem with P.U.L. Their orders have always been accurate, and shipping has always been prompt and reliable too.
P.U.L. have always gone out of their way to look after me, and I really appreciate it more than I can say.
Thank you for everything again.
