Saw on the train someone seated a few seats from me with glossy faux leather pants with many side zippers and what looked like nylon straps connecting to various points on the pants with metal fasteners.

I appreciate seeing men in glossy faux leather, think fabrics like these should be more widespread if rainwear jacket is used and rain pants not, or just worn in general.

I am not sure what I think of the long attached straps.

Pants looks the one in the link are sometimes called bondage pants. And yes, I wonder, but the naive part of me wonders if those straps are just for looks and signaling to others preferences or if folks make use of them in intimate and passionate private settings.
