Sightings were a regular inclusion in discussions. In the 70’s and 80’s. However on Tuesday last I did see something which made me think back many years. I saw a gent dressed for the weather. He had on a wonderful beige coloured nylon Mac by Totes. I have an identical Mac also beige along with a petrol blue and a pink one. I walked slowly past him and heard that tell tail swish, it can’t be beaten by pvc or any other material.
I often wear one of my collection of nylon macs, maybe they are on the way back. I spotted the Totes Mac in. Nottingham so I will keep my eyes open next time there. If any members want to experience the feel and sound , it can be enhanced by wearing it over a full skirt in taffeta.
