we wore these raincoats to school in the 60's made by dunlop ,even the girls wore them all day in class ,but sadly they dissapeared over night in the late 60's but i found some on flickr there not the original ones they were much more shiny.

I would like to think that truancy would not have been a great problem at your school.

thats right wealdenmac it was HARD to sit next to a girl wearing her coat belted up but i just had to carry on somehow hahah ,dam i wish those days could come back mate. i had two extra shiny ones the same as the pic but somehow they got lost over time , they were wonderfull to snuggle up to with your girl friend wearing that coat wealden. i think the girls wore them just to tease!.
