did anyone see Michael Palin on the one show last night he was given a bright yellow heavy duty PVC fisherman's smock just to wash a dog

Winding the clock back many years (possibly 48) I remember one Blue Peter programme when the presenters washed their dogs
Still have this mental image of Valerie Singleton wearing a pvc mac back to front a she washed the dog - Petra I think
Certainly made a young boys heart flutter all those years ago

It's a shame that the presenter, Alex Jones wasn't the one wearing a PVC mac. She'd look amazing
Talking about Blue Peter, I remember an episode in the 80's where Caron Keating made & modelled dresses made from coloured PVC bin liners. Now seeing her body wrapped tightly in plastic certainly was essential viewing.

What about when Sarah Greene wore the translucent plastic rain jacket while shooting the rapids on a trip to Canada, anyone remember that?

O.K. you got me searching Youtube for that Blue Peter episode where Valerie Singleton is washing the dog wearing a plastic mac back to front. I couldn't find it but happened to come across this

Now that is the dogs bollox
I cant remember the programme but its was one of these Saturday evening 'entertainment' shows a bit like House Party but I dont think it was HP where Cheryl Baker was in the studio herding pigs dressed in a shocking shiny pink pvc gown (tie at the back)
