go raincoats

noticed that somebody has found some old stock and isn't asking the earth for them either which makes a change. These are actually decent raincoats http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gents-Mens-Li ... 51a9c05c65

This was one of the first raincoats I owned. It gave me lots of pleasure but I wish I had bought more now I see the price they are being sold at. I think they may have been about £6.00 that would have been the 1990's. Funny enough I kept mine in a briefcase along with my copies of Shiny, Rubberist and DFP. Happy days

Noticed them myself but confound it, seller would not post to USA. There were a number of them and looks as if somebody copped the whole lot. Damn. But maybe for the best. I've bought and sold to and from the UK. Never a problem but the postage is getting more than excessive. I have one of these raincoats from a few years ago and they are very nice. Crisp, thick plastic and elastic cuffs definately keep the wet out!

yes they soon went, bit then at that price I suppose they were pretty good value. I hope they havent been hoovered up by one of the profiteering types who will then be trying to sell them for double that in a few weeks time

I know your a genuine mackintosh admirer, but such a sceptic.
Isn't that what makes the world go around, buying and selling .
Everything has its price, people don't have to buy if they don't want too.
