Hunter Color block boots

I see Hunter has a line of womens tall boots with one color at the top and the rest of the boot black rubber. Any opinions on the look? I like the web photos I have seen so far but have not seen the boots in person. They look good with the black part on the bottom. Is the color section a layer on top of the black layer or is there a seam between them? Do you think they will be a popular item? Does anyone have a pair yet?
