At long last, sightings...

Post by Bill_P »

We're enjoying a very wet Halloween today in good old Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Went to the mall in my Condor yellow rubber raincoat, matching rubber sou'wester & yellow Hunters. Saw a lovely lady of about 60 or so (think Dyan Cannon, looks-wise) in a hooded yellow slicker with a red & blue plaid lining; and also a much less attractive senior citizen in a very shiny red vinyl hooded slicker with a red orange & yellow plaid lining. And of course the usual black & khaki cotton & microfiber trenches, the occasional smattering of wellie-clad women, and the ever popular high tech goretex jackets...but as usual Wisconsin womens' rainwear of choice continues to be a hoodie, with or without a tiny foldup umbrella.
