It's not clear but I do not think that Lakeland Monsoon are still selling's mackintoshes but I could be wrong. The whole website is a bit of a mess I'm afraid and I suspect that the lady owner is not currently involved.

Hamilton Classics do sell SBR style mackintoshes but their materials are not as heavy as Weathervain.

And, The Mackintosh Society would be a good bet if you have more questions.

There are a few rubber macs floating around on eBay right now. Try eBay.uk first

It is sad that many of the good quality rubber mackintosh firms are disappearing.

I have bought from Weather vain once or twice and they are very good quality.

My best mackintosh was from Stormclouds about six years ago but they have now gone as well unfortunately.

There are some other options where you can buy rubber / Latex rain wear such as Sealwear in Bournemouth and also some german sites that appear on the German ebay, just type in "e-bay.de" or e-bay germany and look under the search titles :

Gummimantel, or Lackmantel.

There are some very good raincoats there to bid for, three months ago I bought a pristine Black shiny heavy PVC Yarmouth Mackintosh for £110 including postage.

The only other avenue you could try for rubber raincoats is Shinymac, sometimes they have some good items.
Good luck.

If you want to buy a second-hand mackintosh and it is made from PVC then that might be OK because PVC can be washed.

But buying a rubber-lined mackintosh that has been worn by someone you don't know is a little strange to me because rubber cannot be washed in the way that PVC can.

Chacun a son gout, I assume.

To answer your question I am now the new owner of Hamilton Classics as Ian sadly passed away last year.

We will be selling SBR mackintoshes as well as a variety of satin based rubber lined macks.

Please keep an eye on the website for further details as to when we'll be up and running: http://www.hamiltonclassicsrainwear.co.uk/index.htm
