I have an Atlas Jacket in red The Trousers in Black and the Elvine x Grundens jacket in blue.

It's not matt, I wouldn't say they are Shiney shiney if that makes sense. not like shiney PVC but it has a sheen. they catch the light very well so can look shiney at times but not expicitly so.

The black has a good shine in the light as well as the blue but the red is pretty dull.

I'm afraid they just think they're being clever, but as you say they are putting potential customers off.

Yeah I've got the grundens elvine collaboration in black which I wear all the time and I've got an atlas in black and the shorter version in blue, also. The wife has the womens version in black too and we love them all . Well worth the money and ideal for festivals !!
