Recent sightings

Even with PVC still not commonplace, I did have two recent sightings lately. One earlier this year was a very shiny black long rain jacket. I wasn't able to get close enough to determine the brand or model of the jacket. It had the appearance of being super thin and flexible and that flexibility enhanced the shininess of it. Very stunning see.

The other recent sighting during the rain last week was a 1990s style Misty Harbor black PVC rain jacket with hood and plaid cotton lining. I still like seeing those with the PVC texture hinting of a shine but still very much PVC.

Spotted a lady in Hampstead today in a long red PVC mac with a belt and hood. She must have been in her seventies but she was magnificent.

By your description of the red mac I think she would have purchased it from Rainmac as my wife has a similar one that she purchased from Rainmac.

Well if it was long, somehow I don't think it would be Rainmac as their longest is knee length. And, by my reckoning, that's not long. I agree it's long compared to the silly lengths bought by so many today but still I wonder ...............

By your description of the red mac I think she would have purchased it from Rainmac as my wife has a similar one that she purchased from Rainmac.
