Made in Dagenham

Post by delboy »

The film Made in Dagenham has some of the cast occasionally wearing black PVC macs which presumably reflects the 60's era when the film takes place.

I've been to see the film tonight. One of the main charactors wears an SBR on several occasions. My favourite part was a few seconds of a woman wearing a fastened up and belted, below the knee length, green PVC coat where almost everyone else was in summer dresses.
If you go to youtube and search"Made in Dagenham"there is a very short view of the SBR woman in the preview.

Saw the film last night - very enjoyable and good music, if just a little too long. I was hoping to see some nice clear macs, given the setting, but unfortunately I was dissapointed on that one.

You'll see the girl in the black mac briefly about 10s into this trailer; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0LF-F1QNAw

The character name is Brenda, and she is played by the very cute Andrea Riseborough. Brenda seems to live in her shortie black mac!
