Why can't more newspapers give such good advice !
I wish I was going to be there Mase, It sounds just the day to be outside enjoying nice weather.
You must let us all know how many sightings of 'sensible rainwear' you witness !
Best regards

Well, the rain arrived exactly on time as promised ... and it's still absolutely pouring outside!!

Funnily enough, it's just wet, not really cold. So I wore my lovely soft and smooth green plastic rainsuit under my heavy yellow PVC bib-pants and matching very shiny PVC-U-LIKE raincoat for my walk by the river. I also wore my favourite pair of polka-dot Wellingtons which really helped keep my feet dry in that weather! The rain was absolutely torrential; so heavy in fact that the river had risen two inches by the time I returned to check a marker I put there before returning to the car....

Fun, fun, fun

Incredibly enough, I wasn't the only one out enjoying the wet weather, although none were dressed like me!!

Very soft going indeed... put your money on anything wearing Wellingtons ;-)
