Does anyone know of a black or brown colored rubber boot that is not only uninsulated, but either totally unlined or lined on the inside with rubber or Pvc on the inside as well as the outside?

Most Hunter brand boots I see have either the light tan colored inside nylon type fabric or perhaps the black nylon type fabric. I am rather looking for that same Hunter boot look with a rubber exterior (shiny or matte outside does not matter) and either no lining at all or a rubber inside.

The idea is that if the inside gets wet or somewhat dirty it can be wiped and dried quickly rather than having to dry out thin fabric linings.

I think Crocks perhaps made something like that though I am hoping for a more traditional Hunter boot style instead.

Any ideas? Brands?
What do some of you use where boots get submerged and full of water in lakes or ponds?

Just rubber inside will probably make the boots hard to get on!

Consider the issues surrounding an all-rubber mackintosh and the difficulty of not tearing the rubber. Capes would be easier but that's about all.

You may want to look up the Nora Dolomit boots, they are completely unlined and totally smooth inside, that said they are easy to slip on and off. You can get them in green or black, I have a black pair and love them!

got a pair of unlined rubber hip waders on order , enter , blackstyle wadres on your search engine to find them , as an option you can have the leg any height you want , mine should snug right up to my balls . they also do knee height wellies in the same unlined rubber material .
check with me in about 3 weeks and i should have mine by then

I would also recommend Nora as lovely smooth and unlined. I believe the Blackstyle waders are latex although don't have any. Bought my Nora many years ago in a sale for £5

There's another option too that I found worked, buy a pair of rubber riding boots that have the padded linings in them, the linings are only secured with some stitching around the tops, the insoles are glued in and do take a bit of persuading to come out and not all of the glue will come away but with a bit of work they can be turned into very nice unlined boots.

These days you can get very nice unlined waders, smooth on the inside, so you could acquire a pair, cut the boots off to whatever to meet your immediate needs and in addition, especially if the waders have arms and integral gloves, enjoy the bonus of a makeshift nightshirt for cool nights.
And you can always wear the two together provided you remember not to wade.

In my teens, I used to spend an hour a day thinking up ways to transform standard rubber gear into something more interesting than its original purpose, by cutting up or glueing or stitching, which I learned. I remember glueing two bathing caps together and with appropriate neck entry and breathing holes, they formed my first head mask. I believe that in the 1920s and 30s, before the latex couture fashion houses, it was the usual thing to buy, say, a large rubberised cape and and get a tame machinist to reshape into into a body suit. Double layered, it could have rubber on the outside and inside and the two cotton layers facing.
