Ok. it was a tad expensive but I bought the hunter rain coat.
It's amazing... The feel of the plastic is just different. I have a few PVC u like items but I have to honestly say that the hunter PVC coat is very very different in touch and feel.
I'm enjoying wearing it with my wellies walking the dog and with my daughter now almost 4 years of age.
On another note. I bought my daughter a 1 piece wet suit from trespass and have wondered why the don't mAke them in adult sizes.
I for one would purchase.

They do make one piece suits for adults, mostly for motorcyclists though, but there some really nice colourful ones if you look for them.

I have been considering buy a Hunter vinyl raincoat for some time, they are very expensive but are they worth it? Does anyone make something similar which is cheaper?

Hi Debs
What colour did you buy ? I did'nt know they made Hunter Raincoats until your post. They do look good and as long as you're going to get lots of use out of it - which you probably will, then the price should be worth it.
I had my new Grundens PVC raincoat delivered by Amazon yesterday. It is the Atlas coat 345 in Red and it is one of the best raincoats I have yet bought.
They have come down again in price recently, but it is so strong and light that you hardly feel you are wearing it.
They come in some nice colours which I had a hard time choosing.
The raincoat is quite modern in design so it fits right in wherever it is worn I think and the best thing is that although it has a slight silk sheen when it is dry, the wetter it gets the more shiny it gets.
Needless to say I have been wearing it with my dark Navy coloured Hunter wellingtons.

I also purchased one of these Hunter plastic macs. The quality is superb and the plastic feels like no other! You can get them online for as little as £80, worth every penny

I have just got one from county attire. It was £87 in the sale The black was out of stock in my size, so I have gone for the green. Just love the feel of the Mac.

Hi
Have you all bought the 'original smooth matte vinyl hooded coat' or the 'original vinyl zip-front coat'?

I splurged and got one of these Hunter raincoats and must say I'm not as please as others are with it. First it's not my taker on vinyl, they are actually made of EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) like those lace type macs you see on ebay and AleExpress etc. It is great as a raincoat and I have worn it out in the poring rain, but I do not get the same thrill wearing it as I do from proper macs from PUL.

ASOS are now selling Hunter semi-transparent poncho's and a rain jacket online. 100% polyurethane. Very sexy, very expensive.
