ok - so i am planning a new website.

currently i run waterproofs4you and i enjoy seeing people wearing the gear they have bought from me.

so i thought - what about a website that encouraged people to send in images showing the gear in use. for every photograph that appears on the site you get points towards money off real items. play your cards right and over time you could earn enough points to get free items. no catches.

i thought it would work something like this:

send in 1 or 2 images of you in gear and you get 200 points.

send in 3 to 9 images of you in gear and you get 500 points

send in 10 images or a good story and get 800 points.

you can only earn one set of points per month - but if you send in images each month you could have 9600 points at the end of the year - which translates into pounds off gear - and 9600 points equals £96.

so you could really get something for nothing - almost - you have to take the images or write the story.

any thoughts?

i am not trying to compete with any existing websites but trying to give something back to those who have supported our shop since it started, dealing with what have been long delays from some of our suppliers for example.

alongside the main picture area, there will be a forum where we will try and encourage people to write reviews of the gear so others can find out more.

That is a good idea though at present am waiting for a couple of items too arrive from you!
When they arrive I will endevour too get them photographed and post them lol lol

Those who do not mind faces being shown can have their photos used as are
Those who do not want their faces seen can ask us to paint out faces - which we will do free of charge so the photo can be used
