First real test of pvc u like suit

Torrential downpours this am here in green bay wi, usa.
Had to take some trash out so on went my new blue and yellow reversible pvc u like rain suit along with my rubber boots.
I sinched the hood tightly closed around my neck.
Grabbed the extra storm flap I had installed and buttoned it into place onto the hood and pulled it up so it covered my chin mouth and nose.
Then I placed the blue and yellow reversible sou'wester onto my head.
Made sure the ear flaps were in place and then tightly tied it under my chin.
The rain was coming down in what looked like a continuous wave.
Just one massive downpour.
I grabbed the trash bags and step out into the deluge.
The rain roared and pounded off the sou'wester and drummed against the suit but nary a drop got thru.
Got the trash put in it's proper bin and head back indoors sadly since i have to head to work.
But an amazing purchase was well worth the money.
This is only the beginning of our summer here so I can't wait for the next big storm.
