Does anyone here ever use a checklist in which raincoats they are looking for? I am looking for a shiny yellow 1970's rukka or any shiny pvc or rubber vintage rain coats.

Why don't you look at the german ebay site.
Type in ebay.de
Then look at lackmantel or pvc regenmantel. They have some very nice rainwear a lot of the time and mostly cheaper than the UK site where some people are asking ridiculous amounts of money for marked / ripped raingear - especially so called vintage clothing sites.
Good luck.

I live in North America so I presume the shipping charge and custom fees will be high right?

Any shipping to or from Europe is double or triple what it would take to send domestic I've sold rain suits that cost about 14 dollars priority stateside and the same garment will be from $28 to $32 to send to Europe. Buying from there is about the same sheet of music!

Ebay's Global Shipping Program works out cheaper than using USPS International First Class.

About as often as honest politicians. I've seen exactly 3-4 shiny yellow Rukkas on eBay during the last 10 years.

Is there any other easy way to get one? I presume the only other mean would be if someone is wiling to part with one.

I definitely have a rainwear checklist!
I always look for vintage HH gear, Jeantex and then just miscellaneous vintage rainwear etc and then some brands unqiue to the USA like rainfair, and weather-rite.
I would love to be able to own a HH imak rainsuit and yellow raincoat with buckle closures, I always keep my eyes peeled on ebay and search online.

I am looking for a long vintage yellow 1970's PVC rukka. Pretty much any long yellow shiny PVC raincoats from the 1970's-90's. I also want to get the classic rubber raincoat with the metal clasps and the storm flap in the back.
