Melbourne Mackintosh Club (proposal)

I'm aware that there are a number of rainwear enthusiasts who live in, and around Melbourne (Australia) judging from the number of posts I've seen here and/or flickr.

I envisage the Melbourne Mackintosh Club as a social group/club (similar to the Mackintosh Society in England) where rainwear/mack enthusiasts can meet other like minded people, in a safe, supportive and social setting, where we can chat about rainwear, other shiny fetishes or anything that floats our boat, really.

If there's enough interest, we might be able to organise activities such as BBQ's, day walks or other outings: suitably attired from head to toe in rubber, plastic or PVC rainwear, of course... well, duh!

Please let me know what you think and we'll take it from there.
