Car Wash attendant.

In the old days the man who drove the open fronted tram cars always had an oilskin coat handy so a job at the tramway museum might appeal.

I would imagine that being a recoat or bluecoat at a holiday camp would have been great on rainy days. Plastic macs were probably part of the uniform. I love the rainy scenes in Hi-De-Hi with the staff in their plastic macs.

As a trainspotter, the black oilskins track workers wore may be at least partly responsible for my fetish. Orange nylon does nothing for me, but might still attract some.

Perhaps it might be a good idea to get a job in farming. There is plenty of need to wear rainwear, and plenty of farmers wives and daughters have to wear rainwear as well!

Working on a construction site.
When I was growing up the builders and jcb drivers all wore thick pvc macs from famous army stores.

These days, infinitely more permissive than the 60s, I’d suggest you pick the job you like and then wear what you like. You should be able to get away with it providing you are not working as a Turtle policeman on the protected beach in Zakinthos in August. Even then I never wore a Mackintosh, until I went to Zakinthos.
