spider nests on rainwear

Has anyone ever spotted spider nests when receiving vintage rainwear? I swear that this it has happened to me twice. The first time it was an sbr raincoat and I did not even notice it until a few days later and I just received one and I see another spot of silk. at first I thought it was a tiny plastic tab until I saw it was silk.
