Hi Guys and Gals

I visit this site regularly and occasionally when viewing pics etc you get put through to porn sites etc which is to be expected but yesterday I received an email which contained my email address and the password for this site. Basically the sender was threatening me with "exposure" because I had visited porn sites, that he had a list of contacts etc and if I didn't pay shed loads of bitcoins I was facing doom.

Of course I visit other sites and use a certain password and it may of been compromised elsewhere so I'm just putting it out there that possibly this site may of been compromised and it might be worth you changing your password.

Its a great age we live in!

this hopefully is a scam, if you do a search in google, this happened to me on several occassions, they quoted my email address & password, which I had used in the past, this from the internet "the attacker claims that the virus was downloaded to the computer as a result of the user visiting an adult website and that while viewing internet pornography the webcam was active and recording. “Your tastes are so weird,” states the scammer in the email.

The scammer claims that they will synch the webcam footage with the content that the user was viewing and send a copy of the video to all the user’s partner, friends, and relatives. It is claimed that all the user’s accounts have been compromised. The message also includes an example of one of the user’s passwords.

I had that about a week ago to.
Do not contact any one about this etc etc.

I have pretty much ignored it but it does make you think about Passwords.

Yes me to.
I only use passwords for three sites and all these have been changed.
I think we all have to be password savvy!
