Hi There

I can’t find the original post regarding baby oil ,
I’m a big fan of Famimonti I bought a king size bed sheet of the same material as Dypers it’s lovely and soft foil like pvc.
I was led to believe it was oil resistant but I found Baby oil degraded the material.

It’s very smooth at first then it hardens up to a point it’s like laying on a plastic bag.
Okay fine if you’re into plastic bags but certainly not conjusive to getting any sleep because it crinkles almost as if you’re eating a packet of crisps
Anyone else had a similar experience ?

In general: soft PVC is not oil resistant.
There are recipes for industrial applications like hoses and gloves. But those mixtures are stiff and hard.

Maybe other members have expierence with silicon oil. But this is a hell to clean up and for the environment. Have you ever considered something like nuru gel (water based)?

Have you tried a water-based gel such as Liquid Silk, far kinder to plastics. Works wonders for me.

+1 for Liquid Silk. Can't beat a squirt of it down the front of loose-fitting soft plastic pants before heading out for the day.

Oh. I would love the crinkly sound. You know more about fabimonti products? Does all their products crickle? Or only a certain color? Do you have infor about their plastic pants or plastic suits?
